Proper measurement for custom insect screen: tips & explainer video.
In order for your custom insect screen to fit perfectly, it is important to take the correct measurements. Please measure your windows from the inside and give us the actual width and height from seal to seal. Please note that we will add an extra 6cm aluminum profile for both width and height. Therefore, please do not measure the final product size, but the actual size from gasket to gasket.
To help you measure your windows, we have provided an explainer video on our homepage. There you will learn how to take the correct measurements and which factors to consider. Gentle packaging for your custom insect screen
We place a high priority on gentle packaging to ensure that your order arrives in perfect condition. Therefore, your custom insect screen will be packed in bubble wrap and delivered in matching cardboard boxes.
In addition to the insect screen, you will also receive double-sided adhesive tape to ensure easy and quick installation. Four screws are also included to ensure secure mounting. A cover is included to hide the screws after installation and create an attractive appearance.
Mounting
Please make sure you have enough space of 3cm on all sides of the window frame to fit the fly screen perfectly. The fly screen must be mounted on the outside of the window frame to ensure optimal coverage.
If you do not have enough space of 3cm on all sides of the window frame due to space limitations, you can tell us the exact measurements of the final product. It is important that you tell us in the comment field that you have entered the final product measurement.
If you tell us in the comment field that you have given us the exact dimensions of the final product, we will not automatically add 6 cm of aluminum profile during production. Please make sure you tell us the exact measurements so we can customize the fly screen frame accordingly.
If you have shutters, you need to make sure that there is a gap of at least 2cm between the window frame and the guide rails of the shutter so that our fly screen frame with a thickness of 18mm can easily fit in this area. Careful installation is essential for an optimal result.

Assembly Service
For orders of fly screens in the vicinity of Cologne (up to 60 km) we offer you the possibility to add the assembly directly. This service costs only 50€. For all other locations we ask you to fill out the assembly form on our homepage.
